On June 13 in the framework of the Republican School of Library Directors in Orsha, the National Library of Belarus donated over 700 editions of fiction, encyclopaedic, reference, popular science, educational and other literature to the libraries of the Orsha Centralized Library System.
The event was held in the framework of the charity event “Reading Is the Field of Information and Knowledge”, which the National Library of Belarus holds during 2019.
Two more institutions of the Orsha region enlarged their funds, thanks to the initiative of the National Library of Belarus: library of secondary school No. 2 in Orsha and correctional colony No. 12 for the maintenance and treatment of convicts suffering from active tuberculosis of the Department for the Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Vitebsk region.
