On September 20, an international exhibition "Belarus and the Bible" opens in the National Library of Belarus.

The age of the exhibits collected in the main Library of Belarus reaches 5 thousand years. At the exhibition you can see the Dead Sea scrolls, books by Johannes Gutenberg and Martin Luther, the first lists of the Iliad by Homer, the Bibles of different religions with engravings by Albrecht Dürer, Salvador Dali and other famous artists, the oldest fragments of the New Testament and many other things.

You can visit the "Belarus and the Bible" exhibition in the Book Museum (room 347) till October 21, 2018.

April 18, 2024 marks the 210th anniversary of the birth of Yevstafiy Tyshkevich, a famous archaeologist, historian, ethnographer, local historian and museologist. His research has raised whole layers of the historical past, he was one of the first Belarusian authors of local lore. To mark the anniversary of the scientist, an exhibition "Connoisseur of Belarusian Antiquities" has been organized in the Book Museum of the National Library of Belarus.
