From 27 to 30 March, a training workshop "Formation of authority records in the system of corporate cataloging" was held at the National Library of Belarus.
It was organized for specialists of the Central Scientific Library named after Y. Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
During the workshop there were discussed technological aspects of authority control in the objects of authority records "Subject index", "Geographic name", "Personal name", and etc. There were also carried out practical trainings on the formation of authority records. The results of the training workshop were discussed during a round table.
