A lecture-presentation by Vladimir Parfenok on "Vivian Maier and American street photography" in the framework of the exposition "Learn about the Art of America" on November 22.
The lecture was interesting for professionals and photo amateurs, students of creative universities, art historians, cultural scientists and library readers.
V. Parfenok tried to uncover the riddle of Vivian Meyer, highlighted the facts of her little-known biography, and also analyzed her works through the prism of the works of famous street photography masters: Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, William Klein, etc.
The participants could also expect the thematic exhibition of literature from the collections of the National Library of Belarus.
