On October 21st–22nd, 2009, the International scientifically-practical conference "Libraries and museums in system of innovative activity” will be held in Minsk.
The conference is timed to the 65th anniversary of the faculty of information-documentary communications of Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
The event is arranged by the Belarusian Library Association, National Library of Belarus and Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
Within the framework of the conference plenary session and work of four sections are planned:
- "Socially-pedagogical aspects of innovative activity of libraries. Library innovations”;
- " Information resources and information technologies in libraries";
- "Library education: tradition and novation. Library staff";
- "Innovative activity of museums".
