“With Love to the Book”, a book exhibition, runs in the reading room 164, the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Department, from 1 to 25 February.
Which holiday is most associated with February, 14th? Of course, Valentine's Day! This holiday is adored by everyone who is no stranger to romanticism, and whose heart is filled with love. On this day, people confess each other's feelings, making offers of hands and hearts, and just trying to spend time with their other halfs.
However, it happens that several wonderful holidays can combine at one point of the calendar. On February 14, we celebrate not only Valentine's Day, but also the International Book Giving Day. This holiday has been known all over the world since 2012, and its goal is to remind everyone that the book is the best gift.
We are pleased to invite you to the exhibition “With Love to the Book” and learn more about these two holidays, as well as traditions associated with them. We have selected books that will help to create a wonderful and romantic mood!
