Wings of Creative Inspiration exhibition will take place in the Belarusian Literature Reading Room (room 205) from February 15 to April 5. The exhibition is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Belarusian national writer, Mr Ivan Naumenko (1925-2006).
The talents of a writer and researcher are combined in the creative personality of Mr Ivan Naumenko. It is not easy to say which of these talents is more significant, determining, since both the prosaic heritage and the fruits of scientific research are indicated by the seal of the master.
The prose of Mr Naumenko is largely characterized by his personal experience. The lyrical penetration of feelings and the credulity of intonation, the psychological accuracy of the actions of the heroes, the veracity of the details and artistic generalizations are the hallmarks of the writer's work.
On the Seventeenth Spring is the first book (1957), the trilogy Pine on the Road, Wind in the Pines, Autumn Melodies, Sadness of the White Nights, Dreamer, books of short stories and short stories, as well as collected works and selected works, all these will be among others on display shelves of the exhibition.
Mr Ivan Naumenko is the singer of youth, he wrote greatly about children and for children. He perfectly felt his young reader, knew how and what strings to touch in his or her soul and how to interest one's imagination. The exhibition will offer books for children.
The author's works in different languages of the world will form a separate part of the exposition.
The Research materials by Mr Naumenko on works of the famous Belarusian writers will be on the show.
The exposition is supplemented by literature on the life and career of the author.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Admission is by library card or by the ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
