From October 2nd, 2009, to December 31st, 2009, in periodicals reading room (room 106) is open a book exhibition “To the Land with love”.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus, year 2009 is declared the Year of the Native Land. "Observing the Year of the Native Land will promote preservation and augmentation of national spiritual and cultural property, the historical heritage and natural riches of the country, original traditions of Belarusian people, education of youth in the spirit of love of the Fatherland … ", - is spoken in the message of the President’s press service.
The exposition displays more than 40 periodicals, among which are “The Belarusian Thought”, “The Republic”, “The Economy of Belarus”, “The Agrarian Economy”, “The Belarus Field”, “The Native Nature”, etc.
Among authors of publications and participants of interview are Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus A.N. Tur, chairman of the Association of Belarusian Banks F.I.Chernyavsky, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Belarus L.P.Kozik, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of the Republic of Belarus V.K.Pavlovsky and others.
