From 16 August to 8 September, an exhibition "The maturity of a thought, the youth of a soul" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Belarusian literary critic and teacher V. Kazberuk runs in the Belarusian Literature Reading Room (room 205).
Belarusian literature researcher, Candidate of Philological Sciences Vladimir Kazberuk passed a great way from a teacher of the Belarusian and Russian languages and literature in high school to a senior research at the Institute of Literature named after Yanka Kupala of the National Academy of Sciences.
The section "Treasures of literary searches and exploration" contains scientific works of the scientist which research the problems of the Belarusian Romanticism; reflect links of Slavic literatures, and in particular, the Belarusian-Polish relations. Books with Vladimir Kazberuk’s autographs are of great interest for visitors.
The exhibition also introduces works of the scholar dedicated to Y. Kolas, F. Bogushevich, F. Skorina, A. Garun, A. Mickiewicz, E. Ozheshko.
V. Kazberuk wrote a lot of articles and book reviews, reports and presentations posted in collections and magazines such as Polymya, Maladosts, Belarus, Neman, Problemy literatury, Biuletyn polonistyczny, Acta Polono-Ruthenica, etc. He is a co-author of the books Gіstoryya Belaruskay dakastrychnіtskay lіtaratury (The history of the Belarusian Pre-October Revolution) (Vol. 2, 1969), Staronkі lіtaraturnyhk suvyazey (1970), Asveta i pedagagіchnaya dumka v Belarusi (Education and pedagogical thought in Belarus) (1985) Gіstoryya Belaruskay lіtaratury XX stagoddzya (The history of Belarusian literature of the 20th century) (vol. 1, 1999), etc. All of these publications are in the section "The unity of artistic expression". It also exhibits the works of other authors, introductory articles, comments and observations which were made by V. Kazberuk.
The section "A generous sprinkle of talent" describes him as an editor, a book compiler and a translator.
The section "The formula of life" contains publications about the life and work of the hero of the day. Among the authors there are colleagues and friends: V. Kovalenko, A. Barschevsky, G. Shkraba, I. Bogdanovich, L. Petrova, etc.
