From August 1, 2007 to October 31, 2007, in the Periodicals Reading Room (room 106) takes place an exhibition "The Library of the New Millennium", dedicated to the Libraries' Day.
The Libraries are the most ancient cultural institutions. Thanks to them invaluable treasures of human thought came to us. Epochs are coming through and libraries are changing.
What is the library of the beginning of the new Millennium? The materials of the exposition acquaint visitors with publications about information resources and new technologies of the biggest libraries of the world, architectural projects and design of modern libraries.
The exhibition presents articles from periodicals and illustrative materials.
