“Summer with a Good Book”, an exhibition timed to the International Child Protection Day (June 1) and the beginning of summer vocation, runs on in the circular corridor, 2nd floor, from May 30 to August 30.
Summer is a time of great vacations, interesting observations, cheerful meetings and useful rest. All parents want their children to seek knowledge, achieving success in life. The book is one of the best means of intellectual development at all times. Reading contributes to the formation of a more advanced, socially valuable person. Home libraries play an important role in this process, introducing children to family reading. Thanks to them, the family has an opportunity to teach children to love books.
The thematic book exhibition “Summer with a Good Book” presents about 150 publications for children and adults.
The exhibition section "The first steps on the way to the book” presents the books containing simple and fun exercises for learning to read. They will be a real godsend for parents who want to teach their children to love books and to develop fast reading skill.
The section "In the palms of eternity" includes books on the history and famous people of Belarus. These publications tell about the most interesting and significant events, phenomena, cultural and historical monuments, which allow recognizing and acknowledging the Belarusians, distinguishing our country from others.
The section "In search of adventure and mystery" is focused mainly on adolescents, inviting them to an exciting and fantastic journey through different historical epochs and spaces, the disturbing and astringent world of senses and complex mazes of human relationships.
The offered exhibition will be interesting for children and useful for their parents.
