A subject book exhibition "Polyphony has merged into a unique chorus... “ dedicated to Belarusian choral music runs from September 29 up to October 31 at the Music and Audio Materials reading Room.


The recent acquisitions from the stacks of the National Library of Belarus are displayed at the exhibition. There are choral works by Irina Denisova, Elena Atrashkevich, Alina Bezenson, Lyudmila Shleg, Andrei Bondarenko, Sergey Bugasov, Grigori Surus, Mikhail Vasyuchkov, Anna Korotkina, Igor Khodosko and repertoire collections of amateur choruses.

Particular sections of the exhibition present musical works for children and youth choruses and also children’s music.

The exposition includes more than 80 documents: printed music, audio records, articles and books about Belarusian choral music.

The exhibition is designed for both professional and amateurs of choral singing
