From August 31, an exhibition devoted to the Day of Knowledge is opened in the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery reading room (room 164).
There is no desire more natural than the desire for knowledge.
M. de Montaigne
The early autumn is a golden time, inspiring great poets to compose wonderful lines and artists to magnificent landscapes. Every year it meets us with a wonderful holiday: the Day of Knowledge!
Since our birth, we have been learning something new. Our relatives and teachers help us learn to talk, write, read, count: do everything that seems so simple now. But how can all this be achieved? How to teach a child to speak? How to prepare a child for school? How can you help him enter comfortably in this difficult and fascinating period? The answers to these and similar questions you can found in our exposition.
School years are unforgettable. During this period that we grow up, learn to be independent, find friends, discover this unknown world.
The exhibition also presents books that help students to understand the school's wisdom and fiction about the hilarious adventures of children in this wonderful period of life.
The exhibition will last until October 31, 2018.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
The exhibition is open: from Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm; on Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
The books presented in the exposition can be ordered in the electronic catalog of the National Library of Belarus.
