From January 21 to April 17, a book and illustrative exhibition is taking place in the ring corridor of the 2nd floor. The exhibition is dedicated to the winners of the prize For Spiritual Revival, a special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus to people of culture and art, as well as a special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Sports Olympus for 2019.
Books, catalogs, booklets, articles from periodicals, graphic documents and materials from the library collections are on show in the exhibitions. The exhibits are concerned with all the laureates of 2019 who glorify their native Belarus with their high spirituality and fruitful work.
The Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus For Spiritual Revival is a testament to the state recognition of the merits of scientific and creative intelligentsia, those who have particularly distinguished themselves in humanitarian and charitable activities. The prize is awarded annually for outstanding works of literature and art, active ascetic activities in the humanitarian field, aimed at developing progressive artistic and moral traditions that contribute to the establishment of spiritual values.
Virtual project The 2019 European Games: 15 Bright AccentsOn January 8, 2020, the Head of the State, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decrees No. 4, 5, 6. The decrees provide prizes for spiritual revival, for art and culture and for sports achievements.
By annual awarding the state shows it's constant attention to the issues of creating a healthy spiritual atmosphere in society, the development of Belarusian culture and art.
