From February 18th to March 30th, an exhibition of books presented as a gift by the Chinese People's Republic runs at the National Library (on the 3rd floor, in the circular corridor).
The National Library of Belarus keeps more than 5,000 documents concerning the Chinese Republic: books, albums, video recordings, music editions, maps, author's abstracts of dissertations, audio recordings, and electronic documents.
Close economic and political cooperation between our countries is reflected in a heightened interest to the five-thousand-year history and culture of China. Aforementioned editions assist in the study the Chinese history, culture, art, literature, policy and economy.
On February 11th, 2015 within the bounds of the opening of the ХХIІ Minsk international book exhibition-fair, representatives of the Chinese People's Republic presented to the library more than 500 editions.
The most part of donated books is presented at the exposition. These are editions about the history, policy, education, military science, art and culture of China.
After the exhibition the books will be available to readers.
