From March 17, 2009 to April 13, 2009, in the Belarusian Literature Reading Room (room 205) is open a book exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Emmanuel Ioffe, Belarusian historian, political scientist, Doctor of History, pedagogue, professor.
Emmanuel Ioffe is an author of 620 scientific papers including 38 books and brochures. The scientist studies the history of Belarus, the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War, history od Belarusian science and culture, Belarusian historiography, history of Jews in Belarus, issues od political sciences, sociology and culturology.
At the exposition are displayed over 100 materials: scientific publications and articles written by the author, publications on his life and career as well as photos from Emmanuel Ioffe’s personal archive.
