A book exhibition "Energy-saving as guarantee of a sustainable development” runs at the National Library of Belarus (reading room 106) from November 1 to December 31.
Increase of effectiveness of use of fuel and energy resources and creation of the necessary conditions for the conversion of the national economy into energy-serving mode is one of the priority tasks of the national energy policy. Among the documents presented at the exposition there is the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus “On the measures for the increase of effectiveness of use of fuel and energy resources for the period up to 2012”, published in the journals “Energy and Management” (2010, № 2).
The 14th International Specialized Exhibition BelPromEnergo and the 13th International Symposium “Technologies. Equipment. Quality” were focused on the issues of energy security and energy-saving. Both events were held within the framework of Belarusian Industrial Forum. The article by K. Voloshina “Belarusian Industrial Forum – 2010”: effectiveness and innovative approach” (in the journal “Energetika i TEK”, 2010, № 6) covers comprehensively this event. Several publications presented at the exhibition concern the issues of non traditional and renewable energy sources.
