The country of Maxim Tank's poetry is extremely large and interesting. It is crossed by almost all the meridians of the globe, hundreds of cities and villages stand at the intersections of its roads, and it is inhabited by people of various nations and nationalities. The poet cares about everything: native landscapes and the problem of human existence, the "panarama of the battle for bread" and references to past battles with fascism, the feeling of love and the tragedy of Chile. However, in the thematic diversity of Maxim Tank's poetry, one dominant theme appears. This is the theme of the Motherland, the native land, the fatherland.
