On 13 February, the opening of an exhibition "Flower Paradise" took place at the National Library of Belarus.
In sad, dark winter days we need more sunlight and happiness which green leaves and flowers give us. Such various and unique flowers don’t remain anyone indifferent. Even the most pretty, expensive and best things in our lives we call flowers – our children ….. . Since old times a flower language has been existing. Lovers speak in this language to express their feelings and thoughts. Men and flowers are connected for a long time. It may be stipulated that human life is similar to the existence of a flower. So they accompany a man in the most important and solemn moments.
The republican exhibition "Flower Paradise" carries out in three galleries of the National Library of Belarus “Labyrinth”, “Atrium”, “Rakurs”. This display allowed visitors to feel themselves in bright summer day, to touch to everlasting beauty of nature and art.
The exhibition attracted attention of over 60 authors from Minsk, Vitebsk, Brest, Gomel, and also from Armenia and Serbia. There were represented more than 150 works which reflected artists’ impressions, the most tender sentiments and deep emotional feelings. Photos, paintings, arts and crafts works, made in different techniques, created a particular atmosphere. Most painters represented works in realistic manner, allowing nature to create the sample of beauty, and giving only their own vision and author’s coloration. Organizers of exhibition want to make a sunny present to visitors and all who is in love the day before St. Valentine Day.
