On December 1, the photo exhibition of Anatol’ Drybas My Dear Native Land opened in the gallery Rakurs.
The exposition presents panoramic shots and landscapes of different parts of our homeland. In his works the author emphasizes that the nature of his native Belarus is remarkable for the fabulous beauty, and many citizens do not even know how beautiful can be an autumn forest edges or a small river at dawn.
Anatol’ Drybas has been professionally engaged in photography since 1981. He works at the publishing house Belarusian Encyclopedia named after P. Broǔka, taught a course "Photographica" at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Also he is a member of the photo club Minsk and the association Fotamastactva. The specifics of the publisher’s work require the ability to take pictures of various objects: factories, cities, monuments of culture, different interiors, artworks and more, but the most favorite theme of the photographer was and remains the Belarusian landscape.
Anatol’ Drybas is a participant of numerous exhibitions organized by the photo club Minsk , the association Fotamastactva, the National Library of Belarus, the National Historical and the Literary museums etc.
The author has published a number of albums, including Скарбы Нясвіжа (The Treasures of Niesviž) and Замкавая Беларусь (The Castles of Belarus) which were presented at the National Library of Belarus.
During the opening day visitors got acquainted with the exposition of books from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, which presented publications with pictures of Anatol’ Drybas, and also a number of his photo albums.
The head of the Gallery and Exhibition Activity Department of the National Library of Belarus Aliaksandr Zimienka, the chairman of the photo club Minsk Uladzimir Paǔlaǔ , the director of the Company Belaviagrup and editor Tacciana Bialova took part in the preesenttaion.
The performance of Kaciaryna Samucičava became a musical gift to the event’s guests.
The photo exhibition of Anatol’ Drybas My Dear Native Land , which will run until 15 January, 2016, will be interesting to lovers of photography and everyone who is fond of the nature of Belarus.
