On 3 February, at the Mobile gallery of the National Library of Belarus was held the opening ceremony of the personal exhibition of calligrapher Li Zuo (China).
In the event participated First Deputy Director for User Service and Ideology Elena Dolgopolova, head of the Gallery-exhibition division and Chairman of the International Guild of Painters Fyodor Yastrb, secretary of the Union of Writers of Belarus and laureate of the State Prize of Belarus Georgy Marchuk, and author Li Zuo.
The exhibition presents more than 60 calligraphies of the author with his original texts. These are Chinese verses, short but meaningful. They are written in lyrical lines according to the ancient tradition of Chinese poetry.
The exhibition is arranged in cooperation with the Union of Writers of Belarus and the Confucius Institute.
The exhibition runs in the circular hall (3rd floor) till 3 March, 2012.
