The Library opens the "Art-Minsk 2020" exhibition on November 24.

The exhibition is held within the framework of the "Art-Minsk" festival, which unites several exhibition venues in Minsk in different parts of the city.

The National Library of Belarus is joining the festival for the third time. The exhibition will present the best works of artists in various directions, genres and techniques that exist and are developing today in Belarusian painting and graphics.

The organizers of the "Art-Minsk 2020" festival are the Belarusian Union of Artists, the Republican Art Gallery “Palace of Art”, the Centre for fine and media arts “New Cultural Initiative” with the support of "Gazprom Transgaz Belarus".

This large-scale holiday has been prepared for the sole purpose of giving the residents and guests of the city the pleasures of art.

Visitors to the "Panorama" Gallery will see pictures by famous masters and talented artists of different generations and worldviews. The rich exposition will present the best and most original works from the collection of modern Belarusian art that will appeal to any esthete.

The grand opening of the "Art-Minsk 2020" will begin at 5 pm in the "Panorama" Gallery (22nd floor).

Admission is free for the opening, later the cost coincides with the cost of the Observation Deck visit.

The exhibition will be on show until January 11, 2021.
The end date is subject to change.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's writer of Belarus, publicist and screenwriter Vasil Vladimirovich Bykov.
On this occasion, the National Library has prepared an anniversary exhibition "Soldier's fate", which highlights the great influence on the work of the Belarusian writer of his participation in the Great Patriotic War.
