An exhibition of travel photos Traveling Africa will start on February 11.
You can explore the magical continent from photographs by Mr Yuri Biryukov, the Belarusian photographer and traveller, the member of the Belarusian Public Association of Photographers (section Photo Travel Club), the Minsk People’s Photo Club, and the Russian Geographical Society. The curator of the exhibition is Mrs Elena Danbrova, Curator of the Photo Travel Club section.
The exposition will present photographs from many African countries – Tanzania, Namibia, Madagascar, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Ethiopia, which the author visited during 2012–2019.
You will find magnificent landscapes, mountains and volcanoes, huge ancient lakes, magnificent beaches and deserts, the jungle and endless savannahs. You will see The Great Rift Valley, where the remains of the oldest people on earth where discovered. There are exotic tribes and nationalities living according to the laws that have not changed for millennia, nature reserves and national parks, known for the massive seasonal migration of millions of animals – wildebeests, zebras, gazelles ...
The exhibition is like a real tour, an exotic journey. You can visit it in the Panorama Gallery (22nd floor) until June 16, 2020.
The exhibition end date is subject to change.
An Attendance cost is equal to a visit of the Observation Deck.
