An exhibition titled “From the Books of Uladzimir Karatkievich”, timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the writer, will be open in the Book Museum of the National Library of Belarus from November 24.
The original writer left a significant creative legacy to his descendants. His best works have entered the treasury of Belarusian literature.
Fyodor Stepanyuk was born in 1905 in the village of Chersk, Brest region of the BSSR. During the First World War in 1915, he and his parents moved to the village of Efimovka, Buzuluk district, Samara province. There, from the age of 11, Fyodor worked for 5 years as a shepherd for hire.
