Since April 6, the Book Museum (room 347) has organized the exhibition "Heroes of the Book Country".
International Children's Book Day is celebrated on April 2 to commemorate the birthday of the legendary Danish writer and storyteller Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875). The Museum of Books invites you to meet your favorite heroes of legendary works for children.
The exhibition presents the earliest editions of the works of world-famous authors, such as H.K. Andersen, the brothers Grimm, S. Perrault, D. Defoe, J. Swift, A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, N. Gogol, P. Ershov, S. Marshak, K. Chukovsky, A. Kuprin, A. Tolstoy, M. Gorky,V. Bianchi and others, as well as their translations into Belarusian.
A separate section will introduce you to the author's works of Belarusian writers and poets. Among them – favorite works for children of the classics of national literature Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Alaiza Pashkevich (Tiotka), collections of this year's anniversaries K. Bujlo, Yanka Mavra, E. Ognetsvet, as well as bright works of such famous Belarusian authors as A. Yakimovich, V. Vitka, M. Lynkov and others.
The exhibition will reflect the history of the development of the world and Belarusian children's fiction books over several centuries. Many of the exhibits are being shown to a wide audience for the first time.
The exhibition will run until May 31, 2023.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the opening hours of the Book Museum.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
