Location

In the gallery "Mobile" (3rd floor of the library) there is an exhibition "History of electric transport. From horse-drawn cars to electric buses".

The Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection produced the exhibition to serve as a reminder of the significance of reducing harmful emissions into the environment, the majority of which are caused by cars. A decision in favour of alternate modes of transportation is offered to viewers. They are in great numbers. Both individual eco-travel and public electric transportation are included.

The exhibition provides information about the creation of the first tram and trolleybus, the construction of the Minsk Metro's first station, the advantages of electric transportation, the inventor of the first electric automobile, and the history of personal electric transportation.

After all, only together can we preserve the nature around us alive and blooming, preserve its natural riches, and raise the level of public ecological awareness!

The exhibition is on display until November 2–30, 2022.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.

The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
