The thematic book and visual exhibition "Space and Context: Modern World Architecture" is on display from November 11 to December 4 in the Fine Art Reading Room (No. 306).
Architecture has always had a close relationship with the evolution of civilization, which is reflected in the architectural creations. Artistic standards and notions of beauty evolve throughout history, which has an impact on how people's style preferences alter. The practise of architecture is constantly evolving as buildings and technology get more inventive and architects come up with novel ideas that transform contemporary architecture into grandiose works of art.
The exhibition introduces the author's concepts reflecting current trends and prospects for the development of modern architecture. Books on design and construction, architectural environment design, and the latest structural systems are presented. Visitors are offered well-known foreign magazines "AIT", "Architektur. aktuell", "Architectural Design", "Architectural Digest", "Architectural Record", "Domus", "Der Baumeister", "Project Russia" and others.
Research on the development of modern Belarusian architecture is the subject of a separate section. For specialists in the fields of architecture, design, interior design, landscape design, and building, the magazine "Architecture and Construction", an authoritative publication, will be of particular interest. Each issue of the publication provides readers with the chance to participate fully in the major events in the construction industry, raise their professional standing, and become familiar with the variety of achievements in Belarusian architecture.
