The book and photo exhibition "A Merciful Heart" honours Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeev) (1935–2021), the First Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus and a Belarusian Hero.

The Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeyev) Library of the Minsk Theological Academy donated 50 distinct book editions and 18 board holders with tale photographs for the display. They include biographical data, collections of chosen sermons, articles, and talks, translations into German and English, and Christmas and Easter epistles from various years, as well as illustrated editions commemorating the Metropolitan's anniversaries. The books discuss contemporary theological difficulties, the connection between church and state, and a person's role in religion, history, and society.

Metropolitan Filaret's personality is well-known both within our country and much beyond its borders. His mission, which took place in numerous nations, was always focused on upholding peace, fostering interreligious understanding, and fostering communication between church and state. The Bishop could speak to each person in a language that was close and understandable to him. There is something in his words that supports and strengthens the desire to live and strive for the best in a difficult time in today's world for people of all ages, professions, and religious views, including laypeople and clergy, government officials and businesspeople, theologians and teachers, children, and older people.

Authors of the exhibition: Oksana Knaus, photographer for the Minsk parish of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky church, from 2016 to 2021 – photographer of Metropolitan Filaret, author of the mf-memory.by project, Ilya Perchenko, Head of the Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeev) Library, from 2005 to 2021 – Subdeacon of Metropolitan Filaret.

The exhibition runs from November 11 to December 1, 2022 in Ringed gallery (second floor).
