Since September 1, the Museum of Books has been introducing visitors to examples of Minsk book production from the nineteenth and early twentieth century in the thematic portion of the exhibition "100 rarities: from historical collections to modern art books."
This year marks the 955th anniversary of Minsk. Belarus's capital is one of the country's most important book publishing centres. In the 17th century, the first publishing houses appeared.
Private, public, and state publishing houses in the city underwent active development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There have been published more than 3,000 official, religious, reference, scientific, industrial, and educational works. The exhibits include copies from the private printing houses of E. Dvorets, Ya. Grynblyat, B. Salamonav, N. Nakhumav, and I. Kaplan, as well as a number of publications from the Minsk Provincial Printing House, which is the main state publishing house, the Minsk Provincial Statistical Committee, and the Board of the Libavo-Romensk Railway. The display contains fiction works, children's books, document and data collections, historical essays, lectures, postcards, etc.
The show is held at the Museum of the Book from September 1 through 30, 2022. (room 347).

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the opening hours of the Book Museum.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
