The exhibition "Art-Minsk 2022" was opened at the Rakurs Gallery (second floor) on May 19th.
The National Library of Belarus is hosting the annual art festival "Art-Minsk" for the fifth time and is once again becoming part of the Minsk exhibition space – a large and vibrant gallery with the size of a city. The festival is one of the most significant art events in Belarus, a large-scale holiday, subordinated to a single goal – to give residents and guests of the city the pleasure of art.
"Art-Minsk 2022" is dedicated to the 955th anniversary of the city. The exhibition features works that reflect its stylish, cultural and historical diversity. Minsk is eclectic and multi-faceted. The infinite layers of its understanding and cognition will amaze residents and tourists alike. Creative energy, performing talent and sincere attachment to the native city united authors of different generations and worldviews, famous masters and young artists. The exhibition reflects both classical genres and styles, as well as contemporary art. Landscapes, portraits, still life paintings, abstractions and visual experiments will present a vivid panorama of contemporary Belarusian fine art.
The exhibition was organized and partnered with the National Library of Belarus and the National Art Gallery of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
The exhibition will run until June 27th, 2022.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
Admission is by using a reader's ticket or a social and cultural center ticket.
The exhibition’s opening hours correspond to the library's opening hours.
