The Gallery "Labyrinth" hosts the Exhibition "Poetics of Photography" devoted to the 75th-years anniversary since the birth date of a honorary member of the oldest Belarussian football club “Minsk” and one of the prominent representative of the Lithuanian school of photography Vitaly Butyrin.
The exposition has the most important picture of a photo artist, an expert of photo montage, photo collage, the world known Avant-garde photographer Vital Butyrin from the archive of the football club "Minsk" and individual author’s works from personal collections of Minsk photographers. Most of the pictures made in the genre of novella about mystery and unknown.
The exquisite compositional drawings, laconism, monumentality, surreality of the plots, expressive visual metaphors, deep subtext of images – the unsurpassed originality of the art of photography by Vitaly Butyrin. Each of the works make its viewers to think about the world concept and philosophic findings. In the master's series, significant themes coexist side by side: the relationship between man and nature, reflections on dissonance and the affirmation of the harmonious beginning of human life, its fantasticality, the search for the golden section of events and deeds. We invite you to find answers to your ideological questions and look into the space of real art – the space of "Poetics of Photography" by Vitaly Butyrin!
Vitaly Butyrin is a participant of dozens of exhibitions around the world (more than 700), winner of hundreds of awards (more than 300), holds the high title of master of FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art). The artist created 13 photo-cycles and released four photo albums.
