A thematic exhibition "Industry 4.0: Digital Transformation" is on show in the Periodicals Reading Room (room 106) from January 4 to February 23.
In today's world, transformations are taking place at an accelerating pace in various spheres of society. There is now an enormous technological potential that is being increasingly realized to improve the quality of human life.
Building smart cities, based on the introduction of advanced IT solutions into the life of the metropolis, is one of the priority areas. Modern urban technologies are the subject of articles from ZhKKh (Housing and Communal Services), Science and Innovation, Director Journals and others.
All areas of life – from industry, agriculture, to government, business and medicine – are now unthinkable without the internet and computer technology. Digitalization in healthcare, transport, the agricultural sector, education, etc. is the subject of publications in Adukacyja i vykhavanne (Education and Upbringing), Ahrarnaja ekanomika (Agricultural Economy), Economy of Belarus, and other journals.
The State Programme for the Development of the Digital Economy and Information Society for 2016–2020 was being implemented in our Republic, and the State Programme "Digital Development of Belarus" for 2021–2025 is still ongoing. The results of these activities will be covered in the periodicals Belaruskaja Dumka (Belarusian Thought), Viesnik Suviazi (Communication Bulletin), Union State, etc.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Admission is by the library card or by the Social and Cultural Centre ticket.
