An opening of "Lines of Good" exhibition will take place in the "Panorama Gallery" (22nd floor) at 5 p.m. on January 14.
The organizers are the National Library of Belarus together with the "White Stork" Children's Aid Foundation, the "Good Hearts" Charity Group and the Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov.
The exhibition presents pieces by young artists, students and graduates of the art college. These are graphic sketches based on the Belarusian traditional culture, national ornaments, urban landscapes, religious motifs, philosophical reflections.
The purpose of the exhibition is to remind the audience about the activities of Belarusian charity foundations and organizations that deal with the problems of children in need, assist orphanages and other specialized institutions. The organizers hope that visitors will become more attentive and responsive to the problems of others and encourage sponsors and volunteers to participate.
"Lines of Good" exhibition is designed to evoke special feelings, arouse subtle visual perception and non-standard creative comprehension. A worthy level of consciousness and responsibility of the Belarusian youth is the desire to make their own lines of the good and be useful to those who are in need, help and sympathize with them.
