Book Museum (room 347)

We invite the participants of the "Book Professors Club" to the festive museum classes. Together we will create greeting cards with drawings by Uladzimir Karatkievich.

Participants of the classes will see the exhibition "From the Books of Uladzimir Karatkievich", timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the writer in the Book Museum. Children will see that Uladzimir Karatkievich was not only a wonderful writer and poet but also an artist. He created bookplates for books and was very good at painting. The writer made greeting cards for his friends himself.

Here is a Christmas image and a poem sent by Uladzimir Karatkievich to poet Maxim Tank in 1957 (from the collections of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art).

With the help of the drawings of the favourite Belarusian writer, participants of the classes will create their own unique postcards for the holidays.

Date: December 19.
Time: 01.00 - 02.00 p.m.
Venue: Book Museum (room 347).

Entrance fee: 4.50 rubles.
