Thematic exhibition "Beauty Will Save the World!" is on show in the Periodicals Reading Room (106) from September 3 to October 30.

At the initiative of the International Committee of Aesthetics and Cosmetology CIDESCO, World Beauty Day is celebrated in many countries every year on 9 September. Since 1995, everything that is beautiful and gives aesthetic and moral pleasure is especially welcomed on this day.

Maybe, beauty is not the ultimate savior, but at least it makes the world better. Tastes differ, but common ideals and standards were in every century.

All employees of the industry celebrate the World Beauty Day: hairdressers and beauticians, stylists and makeup artists, plastic surgeons and massage therapists, fitness trainers. The periodicals “Fashion Theory”, “Fashion collection”, “ICON”, “Beauty Industry” and others presented at the exhibition are for specialists in this field.

Regardless of the type of activity, Beauty Day is a festival for all women on the planet. There is a tendency for natural beauty, without having to conform to certain standards nowadays. You can learn about new beauty trends in the magazines "Happy and Beautiful", "Alesya", "Marie Claire", "Women's Journal" and others.

In total, the exposition includes about 40 periodicals.

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Admission is by a library card or by the Social and Cultural Center ticket.
