An exhibition timed to the 120th anniversary of people’s writer of Belarus Mikhas Lynkov (1899–1975) runs in the Belarusian literature reading room (205), from 29 November to 19 December.
The exhibition reveals the life and work of Mikhas (Mikhail Tikhonovich) Lynkov as a talented novelist, essayist and scholar.
The works of Mikhas Lynkov have been repeatedly republished and are well known to readers of different generations. The author is best known as a children’s writer. His talent and skill, as well as in-depth knowledge of child's psychology excite young readers to this day. The exposition presents the writer’s first book Short Stories (in Belarusian: Апавяданні) (1927), collections of prose, selected stories, sketches, essays, critical articles and children’s books.
The books by Mikhas Lynkov translated into different languages are on display as well.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
