"New Year. The time of promises and belief that everything will start anew next morning, that things will go better and happier. ”

Janusz Leon Wiśniewski

New Year is the most beautiful, kind and funny holiday. Since childhood, we have been waiting for the miracle and magic on the main winter holiday. The atmosphere of a festival reigns everywhere: gorgeous spruces appear on the squares, the windows of the houses shimmer with colorful lights, the shop windows are full of New Year's souvenirs. Even the air seems to be filled with magic!

To create a festive mood and a New Year’s atmosphere, the library staff has organized the exhibition “Happy New Year 2020, Dear Friends!” The exhibition presents not only fiction, but also books with interesting ideas for decorating a festive table, drawing up a New Year’s menu, recommendations for choosing holiday dresses, creating souvenirs and Christmas tree decorations with your own hands.

Opening hours:

Mon. – Thurs. 10.00–19.00,
Fri. 10.00–18.00,
Sat., Sun. – day off.

Admission is by library card or by ticket of the library's social and cultural center. Information and tickets may be obtained at the registration desk.
