A book exhibition timed to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Nicolay Mishchenchuk (1939–2012) runs in the Belarusian literature hall (205), from October 25 to November 28.
Nicolay Mishchenchuk is known both in Belarus and abroad as an outstanding teacher, scientist, literary critic, poet, translator, author and co-author of textbooks and manuals for higher and secondary schools.
The offered exhibition reveals the life and work of the writer, presenting his rich literary heritage: the collections of patriotic, environmental, philosophical and intimate lyrics, monographs, critical essays and literary studies. The works about the urgent problems of Belarusian national literature and its history are remarkable for a rich factual content, interesting and original observations and conclusions.
The exposition includes the works and essays of Nicolay Mishchenchuk in collections and periodicals, his translations and books written in co-authorship.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
