From October 4 to October 25 we invite you to the exhibition “Our Four-Legged Friends” which is held in the interlibrary loan and document delivery reading room (164).

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

Mahatma Gandhi

On October 4 it is World Animal Day. The main purpose of the event is to remind people that the Earth is a common home for all creatures that inhabit it.

It was decided to celebrate World Animal Day in 1931 at the congress of the International Animal Protection Congress in Florence. Traditionally, seminars and conferences are organized on this Day, where they call to preserve the wildlife.

The variety of animal nature delights and fascinates. Aquarium fish and giant sharks, hamsters and rhinos, cats and dogs, as well as other animals, undoubtedly decorate our life, make it richer, brighter and richer.

Communication with them brings joy and a sea of ​​positive emotions and at the same time teaches us compassion, care and responsibility.

The book exhibition Our Four-Legged Friends presents books about a wide variety of animals, from which you will learn how to care for and care for our smaller brothers and live in harmony with nature and ourselves.
