On September 24 the library will host the opening of the exhibition "Color of Silence", which tells about the inner world of children with hearing impairments and their way of communicating with the environment.
International Day of Sign Languages is celebrated on September 23. On September 24 is International Day of Art Therapy. The "Color of Silence" exhibition will be dedicated to these dates and will present the works by students of the Zhdanovichi special boarding school for children with hearing impairment.
Children with different degrees of hearing loss have the opportunity not only to receive secondary education, but also to fully develop their creative abilities. Teachers of the school pay great attention to creative development, taking into account the individual capabilities of the child and attach particular importance to the artistic development of children. Associations of additional education contribute to the creative expression of children, their ability to translate their creative ideas.
The "Color of Silence" exhibition presents works by students of the studio "Kraski". The young teacher Anastasia Yakovenko helped children express their mood, impression and emotions in their work. Individual approach, attention and patience give their results.
The opening will take place in 4 pm in the corridor of the 3d floor.
The exhibition will last until November 1, 2019.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
