The thematic exhibition "Glancing through Foreign Periodicals" is held from March 1 to April 26 in the Periodicals reading room (room 106).
An important source of information designed to enrich the culture of reading users, improve their vocabulary, form a wider outlook, is a foreign periodical press.
The funds of the periodicals hall contain foreign journals in English, German, French and other languages that satisfy the interests of a wide range of users.
World-famous periodicals as "Paris Match", "Le Figaro Magazine", "Stern", "Cambio 16", "The Economist", "Fortune" provide information about important events in world politics, current news in the field of economics, social sphere, current cultural events. On the latest achievements of medicine, chemistry, biology and other natural sciences will tell the journal "Nature". Photo lovers can enjoy the stunning scenery of nature in the "National Geographic" magazine, as well as learn a lot from travelers about the planet. "People" and "Bunte" magazines will tell about social life of famous people.
The exhibition presents about 40 periodicals.
The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
