On January 31 the library hosted an extended meeting of the Directorate on the results of 2018 and tasks for 2019.
The director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky summed up the work and spoke about plans for next year. There is the implementation of a number of creative and scientific projects related to such important events for the country as the 100th anniversary of the founding of the BSSR, the 80th anniversary of the unification of Belarus, the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the 2nd European Games 2019.
The library employees made also reports, after which the chief specialist of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Botyan spoke thanked for their longstanding diligent work and the implementation of socially significant projects.
The ceremony of awarding the library employees for success in labor activity was held in a solemn atmosphere.
The head of the retrospective acquisition and reserve stock section of the Acquisition Department Natalya Maremukha was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development and popularization of national culture.
Diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for many years of diligent work and a significant contribution to the popularization of national culture were awarded to the head librarian of the Library and Information Technologies Department Zoya Petrovskaya and the head of the Special Collections Department Tatiana Khodosevich.
Honourable mentions of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for many years of fruitful work and high professionalism were given to Head of the Bibliography Research Department Irina Gryadovkina, Head of the International Relations section of the Public Relations Department Marina Valchak and Head of the Off-budget funds accounting section Svetlana Chervyakova.
The Library’s administration has also awarded the employees with well-deserved awards to: Anastasia Tolkacheva, head of the information and bibliographic service section of the Information Services Department; Vasiliy Prus, leading energy engineer of the Electrical Engineering and Elevators Maintenance Department; Elena Gunko, copying machine operator of the publishing section of the Publishing Department; Elena Ishutina head of the maintenance of the corporate cataloging system section of the Library and Information Technologies Department; Inna Karanina, methodologist of the 1st category of the Excursion and Methodological Work Department; Irina Bocharova, head of the fixed assets, stocks and turnover means accounting section; Liliya Vesnechek, chief librarian of the special collections section of the Special Collections Safekeeping Department; Margarita Nikiforova, deputy head of the Computation Office; Marina Rudakovskaya, head of the Corporate Interaction Department; Natalya Marus, chief bibliographer of the Electronic Library Development Department; Natalya Kholyavskaya, librarian of the 1st category of the Information and bibliographical service section of the Reference and Information Service Department; Olga Bedritskaya, head accountant of the Accounting off-budget funds accounting section; Olga Grinkevich, head of the Analytical information on culture and art section of the Information and Analytic Activity Department; Olga Zhurikova, lead economist of the budget planning section of the Planning Department; Olga Yanchenyuk, leading bibliographer of the retrospective national bibliography section of the Bibliography Research Department; Tatiana Voronovich, chief librarian of the Library Service department; Tatiana Zakharova, head of the museum activity section of the Bibliology Research Department; Julia Goncharova, head of the legal work section of the Human Resources Department.
