Within the framework of the exhibition project "Belarus and the Bible" a meeting of the international scientific round table "Modern Biblical Studies" will be held.

  • National Library of Belarus,
  • Manuscript Research Group (USA),
  • International public association "Saints Methodius and Cyrill Educational Centre",
  • Department of Biblical Studies and Christian Doctrine of the Institute of Theology of the Belarusian State University,
  • Department of Biblical Studies of the Minsk Theological Academy named after St. Cyril of Turaw.
During the round table, a presentation of the collection of reports of the Fifth East-West Symposium of New Testament Scholars "The Gospel Image of the Lord Jesus Christ in Church Tradition and Biblical Science", published in August 2018 in the publishing house of the Belarusian State University within the framework of the joint publishing program "Theology at Universities" .

The meeting will begin on October 16 at 11.00 in the Educational Technologies room (3rd floor, room 346).

“Enchanting Arts”, a book-illustrative exhibition timed to the 80th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Artists, is open in the fine arts hall (306), from 10 to October 31.

The exhibition “Tender, Cute, Kind”, timed to the Mother's Day (October 14) is held from October 12 to November 30 in the library (2nd floor, circular corridor).

I Saw Belarus like That


A presentation of Vladislav Tsydzik’s book I Saw Belarus Like That and a photo exhibition, timed to the Year of the Native Land in Belarus, will take place in the library, on October 16th.

Writing the Literature’s Life


“Writing the Literature’s Life”, an exhibition timed to the 70th anniversary of Tatiana Shamyakina, runs in the Belarusian literature hall (205), from October 5 to November 7.

Seeing in the Dark: That and not Only to Learn at the "Fantasy Land" Exhibition


   The “Fantasy Land” exhibition will open on October 9 in the Library.
You will see the spectacular works from the art project "The 13th Wonder of the World" by artist Alexander Vyshka. Depending on the light – natural, ultraviolet light or total darkness - objects change externally, changing their message at the same time. Unusual exhibits will open the gates to "Atlantis", the kingdom of shadows and monsters, and send you on an exciting journey to the "Mysterious East".
