On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus (July 3) a thematic exhibition "Belarus Today" was organized in the Library.
The exposition numbers about 200 editions. It includes books on the formation of the Belarusian statehood, the current level of the country's development, achievements in the social, economic, scientific and cultural spheres, foreign policy and external economic relations. The best traditions of the Belarusian people, unique natural wealth of the country are reflected in the exhibition.
Readers and visitors of the exhibition have an opportunity to know better with the latest products of Belarusian publishing houses, published in the last three years.
The 2018 in Belarus is declared the Year of Native Land, therefore one section of the exhibition "Images of the lovely native land" is dedicated to big cities, regional centers, picturesque places and protected corners of our country, beauty and richness of its nature.
The section "The Belarus Country" includes editions on the history of the native land, socio-political and social literature on the current state of the republic and the ways of its further development.
In the last part of the exhibition "Contemporary Portrait of Culture and Art of Belarus" there are books on the cultural and historical heritage, monuments of religious architecture, encyclopedic guides, photo albums, booklets, revealing a rich cultural life and an attractive image of our country.
The exhibition will be actual for everyone who is interested in the development and modern state of Belarus.
The exposition is located in the circular corridor of the 2nd floor and will last till August 30, 2018.
