Activities

The department’s major task is maintenance of economic planning activity of the Library; budget planning of the Library together with its other structural divisions; development of tariffs for services rendered by the Library; elaboration and implementation of offers on further development of the Library, and also maintenance of economic efficiency of the Library’s activity.

Functions:

• development of local documents regulating and adjusting the economic planning activity of the Library;
• rendering of consulting services to subdivisions and officials of the Library on economic questions within the limits of the competence of the department;
• financial and economic examination of contracts, accountings and other documents of service rendering, purchase of equipment and other property in the interests of the Library’s activity;
• preparation of scheduled calculations for reimbursement of municipal and operating costs to lease contracts and gratuitous transfer of premises;
• rent calculation under lease contracts for premises, basic means and other property;
• organization of a system of payment and material stimulation of the Library employees;
• duly compiling of a list of members of staff, preparation of schemes of official salaries, documents on the control of fund of payment in the context of structural divisions of the Library;
• compiling, representation, formation and revision of prices and tariffs for works and services of the Library.
